Better With Friends Card

 Hello Crafters!

I wanted to share with you, this card I created with the tea/coffee cup design.

The cup was printed on glossy photo paper. Yes, I know..... I need to work on my blending :o)

I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, then cut the image out.

The background is some board shelf lining paper and a scan of lace on a pillow case.

The edges and tag were inked with Ranger's Antique Linen.

The sentiment was printed onto beige paper, a tag punch was used, inked and adhered with a mini brad.

It's all mounted on A4 white cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Coffee Bean Design Team Blog.

Have a fabulous day!

Craft on,

Becky

Happy Father's Day BookMark, Coffee Beans June 2020

Welcome Back Friends,

Robin here with the Lady Beans Blog, sharing my project using the most adorable image  Jesse Boy Bear, from  Bug A Boo Stamps , for Fathers Day.

My father has been gone for 22 years, I miss him everyday.  He was an avid reader, and hence very smart.  I know how much he would of loved my bookmark !!

I colored my image with colored pencils, fussy cut the bear out. Inserted pattern paper, that I stamped Happy Fathers Day onto, and then inserted that into the bookmark sleeve, and then adhered Jesse Boy Bear to the front of the bookmark. I love the dimension with the image on the outside of the sleeve.

Thank You for visiting and as always I appreciate your kind comments

Until Next time....

Wedding Table Numbers Marker Coffee Beans 2020

Welcome Back Friends,

Robin here with The Lady Beans Blog, sharing my project with a great digi hand drawn by our very own Anne Ingram. Her wedding cake can be found at http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ladybeandigistamps

I just recently attended the sweetest wedding. Held at the historic Botzum Farm, located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The wedding was outside and then we made our way to the barn, decorated with sunflowers, burlap, and lace. The bride wore a beautiful gown, and her cowboy boots!

I was asked to use Anne's wedding cake digi and create a wedding project. I was inspired by the sunflowers, burlap and lace found at the wedding.

Wouldn't these be beautiful as table markers? I can see these used as a tent card marker, on a floral tag holder in a jar of sunflowers, or just laid in the center of the table.

Thank You for visiting and as always I appreciate your  kind comments

Until Next Time......

Jesse Boy Bear

Father's Day is this Friday here in Denmark. It's the same day as our Constitution Day....figures ;-)

Well all Dads deserve recognition for their devotion, love and hard work but sadly I lost my Dad several years ago, so I will have to make due with sending a loving thought to where ever he might be.

I might not get to send him this card but I made it anyhow….maybe it more fitting for my kids to give to their Dad but no matter what - I made for Father's Day :-)

I used the darling Jesse Boy Bear Digi Stamp from Bugaboo Stamps:

This time I used the same technique as last  - the Print and Cut function. I thought it would save me some time.....LOL....NOT!

If I choose to do this another time, I need to make sure I have the right patterned paper I want because I spent a lot of time searching for some but found this at Creative Fabrica.

I wanted a watercolor look - so it looks colored in.

I also made the shaped card with  my Silhouette Cameo. Simply by making an Offset of the stamp, duplicate the offset and flip the duplicate horizontally. Then I overlap the two offsets, weld them together and make a scoreline down the middle. Very simple and easy.

I did not make a sentiment to put on the card - simply in case I choose to use it for something else.

Happy Father's Day to all Dads out there and thank you so much for stopping by.

A little bit Outlandish

Hello all - Helle here with a new card project for the Coffee Beans Design Team.

This time I've done it a bit differently meaning that instead of coloring in a digi stamp, I've used the print and cut option in my Silhouette Studio Software. It's a bit more of a lazy approach but if you - like me - aren't the best with markers or crayons, it's a great alternative.

This time I used digi stamps made by our own Anne Ingram and Annie Collins. These stamps are available in the Lady Beans Etsy Store

I originally intended this to be a bridal project but when searching for digi paper to use, I came across this lovely paper by Lettering Delights - A Wee Bit Scottish and this of course refers to the TV series Outlander.

So this is what I came up with:

I pictured these to be Claire's shoes ;-)

The shoes are by Anne and the flowers are by Annie.

I did use a Promarker for the center of the flowers + a Gelly Roll Pen with glitter.

The background is made with digi paper and a Celtic Knot Motif from the Silhouette Design Store ID #57808.

Finally I added a small sentiment written with a Celtic font.

I think it rather fun that you can use this method too. What do you think? Please let me know in a comment below.

Thanks for joining me today - hope to see you back here very soon.

Everyone Knows How Much I Love Glitter

Hello all. Salima here with Judy Markowitz's infamous Alicorn.  Isn't he just beautiful.  I used rainbow colored Stampin Blends to color his main in the colors: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Shaded Spruce, Seaside Spray and Blackberry Bliss.  His unicorn and front bangs are all glittered up with Nuvo Pure Sheen glitter: Glitter Diamond and Glitter Champagne. I cut a couple of curves in some scrap paper and used that to represent clouds with Impression Obsessions Rose colored hybrid dye ink.  Gold mirror paper is the matting for our image. Sentiment is from The Ton stamp set called Easy Expressions layered on Gold Mirror paper.  You know the shine from the glitter was not enough. I took my Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker and went over the main of Alicorn to make him shine just a little bit more. They don't call me the Glitter Queen for nothing!
You can find Judy's Alicorn Digi Stamp here

Who doesn't love Alicorn?

Alicorn

Hello, Jacqueline here with the Coffee Beans. This is Alicorn and she is just so sweet. I created a 5x7 card for my DT project. I just love how she is flying through the sky.

First, I created the background using the following Distress Inks:

Mowed Lawn
Peacock Feathers
Spiced Marmalade
Spun Sugar
Tumbled Glass

I wanted a multi-colored sky. I love the way it came out. I also colored a second sheet of paper for stamping the sentiments.

I used the following Copics to color Alicorn:

RV000, RV04, RV10, RV11, G00, G12, B00, B12, Y000, Yo4, BG10, and Bg11

Alicorn is carefree and unique. I used sentiments that conveyed the same message; that it is okay to be different.

You can purchase Alicorn by clicking on the Multi Crafters Cafe and looking in the album. There are several wonderful and new images!

Be sure to visit The Multi Crafters Cafe!  Loads of exciting things are coming up!

I will see you again soon, with another card using Alicorn and Music Notes. Both images were created by our lovely Judy Markowitz.

Over the rainbow

Well not quite - more like over the music or ?

No I'm not entirely rambling. I'm referring to the latest project I just made using these cute stamps made by Judy Markowitz of the Lady Beans - both are available for purchase in the Multi Crafters Craft Cafe on Facebook.

I didn't have much time to make the project so I settled on making a card and combined the two stamps and the result is this:

I colored in the stamps with Promarkers and Sharpies and used a Glitter Gelly Roll on the hair in between the colors plus as dots in the eye. Then I added some colorful enamel dots here and there.

This will be perfect as a Birthday card for a little girl who loves unicorns.

Thanks for watching - as always, please leave me a comment below.

Wishing Ewe.....

Hey hey hey…..Helle of My Creative Hideout here with a little wooly project that fits all kinds of celebrations.

The digi stamp I used this time, is sponsored by:
With Mother's Day coming up and lots of Birthdays etc. I thought it fitting to make a little box that can hold a chocolate bar. Who doesn't love to receive chocolate?

My choice fell on the 3D Mummy Candy Box designed by Jamie Cripps (Silhouette Design Store design ID #68840) but only the box itself, so I stripped it of all the unnecessary parts and added a
panel with the darling digi stamp Wishing Ewe.

The background on the panel is also one I found in the Silhouette Design Store design ID #22287 by Rivka Wilkins.

I colored in the stamp with Promarkers along with a grey Sharpie, a glittery Gelly Roll and a white Sharpie for the eye highlights.

I also added a few enamels dots for a little something extra.

Then I put the chocolate bare inside…..

….and it's ready to be given away to someone special.

Thanks for joining me today

Wishing Ewe a Great Day!

Wishing Ewe

Hello, this is Jacqueline with the Lady Beans. I just love this little ewe. She is a star! Wishing Ewe is by Bugaboo Stamps.

I created a 6x6 card. I love using alcohol markers to color. I decided to use my Blick Studio Markers for this stamp. I like to show that you can blend and shade with the different brands of alcohol markers. You can even mix them together.

The sentiment that comes with this stamp is "Wishing Ewe", which is just perfect. I did decide to use a different sentiment for my card this time. Wishing Ewe reminds me of a Fairy Godmother granting wishes. Wouldn't that be nice?

Blick Studio Markers:

Hair = Camel, Walnut, and Dark Umber
Face - Camel, Tan, and Shell
Skirt - Pink, and Very Berry
Fur - Coral Peach, Rose Petal, and Peach Blush
Wings - Canary Yellow and Light Periwinkle
Wand  and Shoes- Purple and Lilac
Tights - Pink and Coral Pink
I outline the image with Warm Gray 10% and Warm Gray 20%

Our blessed month of Ramadan is coming in 5 days.  I cannot wait. I had to make a Ramadan wish card. These roses from Annie Collins were the best to display my sentiment from Altenew.  I colored using Stampin Up's Stampin Blends Markers. Everyone knows that Salima cannot live without bling.  The Roses have glitter on them to give them a little pop.  The image was cut out by my Scan N Cut and then layered on Basic Black card stock and printed card stock. The sentiment is from Altenew wishing the receiver "May This Ramadan Be Your Best Ever" stamped on a label with a gold outline and embossed in Gilded Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe.  Gold sequins finish off this card.

Mom's Day!

Hello everyone! I am back! I took a little hiatus.  As you all know, Mom's day is on the horizon.  The tulips were are a special image from Anne Ingram. I printed them and had my Scan N Cut do the work of cutting the images out.  The tulips were colored with my Stampin Up Stampin Blends Markers. Mom stamp is from the stamp set Mom's Clematis from Simon Says Stamps.  The background is designer series paper from Stampin Up and the bees are from Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin from January 2020 "I'll Bee Yours".  Of course Salima has to bling, so I added a little embossing powder Brutus Monroe called Spring Sparkle and a little bling to the head of the bees.  Hope you enjoy this beautiful card

Happy Easter from the Lady Beans!

This is Jacqueline and I am excited to share my Easter project with you. I used the egg stamp created by our very talented Annie Collins. This was such a fun card to create. This stamp would be ideal to use to create a tag or put on a gift bag. I can think of many projects that you could use this stamp on.

You can purchase this image from The Multi Crafters Cafe. cafe.  This image, along with many other are included in the album "The Coffee Bean Stamp Machine.

This time of year, we are reminded how wonderful life is and that summer will soon be here. I think that this adorable image is a great reminder that life is indeed good!

I created a 6x6 card. I used paper from my stash. I wanted to highlight the beautiful eggs, so I used a robin blue paper behind the two eggs. I propped one egg up. I did use an organza ribbon and two sweet sentiments.

I colored this image with my hodge podge of Spectrum Noir markers:

Background of the eggs - OR1
Leaves - AG1 and AG2
Sunflower - CT1, CT 3, and GB5
Small flowers - PV2
Rabbit - BG2, BG3, BG4, AND IG6 with a touch of CR3 in the ears

To add dimension of put more than one layer of OR1 around the edge of the egg and outline the flower and the rabbit. Shading adds dimension - so don't be afraid to shade and highlight!

Hanging Easter Eggs

Next week Easter begins and usually I decorate a bit for the Holiday but this year I can't find my stuff after the move. So I figured I would make a thing or two this year.

My DT assignment this time was these two Easter Eggs made by Annie Collins (these are available for purchase via Anne Ingram in The Multi Crafters Craft Cafe Albums) :

I printed two sets out and colored them in with my Promarkers and then used the Print 'n Cut setting on my Silhouette Cameo, to cut them out.

Then I made an offset of the eggs and cut out two of each in AC Cardstock.

I found two cute Egg Doilies in the Silhouette Design Store design ID # 40140 designed by Megan Hardy and cut both out of Pearl Paper in pastel colors matching those of the offset cutouts.

Finally I glued the digi stamps onto the offset cutouts and glued one on each side of the Egg Doilies and voila....two new hanging Easter Eggs.

One in pastel purple/pink:

And the other in Pastel blue/Ocean Blue:

These are pretty big but it's very easy to downsize them so they could hang from a branch in your Easter Decoration.

Thanks for joining me today - please let me know in a comment if you liked this project.
I hope you'll have a Happy Easter and remember to stay safe.

Love Monsters

Hello everyone :-) Helle from My Creative Hideout has hijacked the blog ;-)

Today it's my turn to show a little DT project for the Coffee Beans Design Team

This time I made a Flip Flap Card that I found in the Silhouette Design Store ID #136973 by Lori Whitlock and I used the cute Love Monsters digi Stamp.

I got the idea of the little monsters being caught inside the jar, ready to be given to someone special either as a Mother's Day card or maybe (in these crazy times) a Get Better Card. No matter the occasion, these darlings are sure to bring the message of love :-)

I used AC Cardstock, pattern paper from Doodlebug Design's Fairytales Collection and a piece of Acetate (doesn't show at all on this picture). The lid is made from Bazzill Bling Cardstock.

I colored in the stamp with Promarkers.

Now it's ready to be shipped of to someone special.

The Love Monsters digi stamp I've used is sponored by:

Happy Mother's Day!

This is Jacqueline for the Coffee Beans. I am new to the team and am so excited to share my creations with you. I am beyond excited to be on the team!

For this funny Mother's Day card I used Love Monsters by Bugaboo Stamps. Bugaboo creates really adorable images. This year, I wanted to give my mother a fun Mother's Day card and I think this one is just perfect. My mother is from Twickenham, England, so we celebrate Mother's Day twice. We live in the US and our Mother's Day is on May, while in the UK it is in March. Such fun!

I created a 6x6 card using paper from my stash. I matted the floral purple paper with black paper. I typed the sentiment on my computer. I often type my own sentiments. I wanted something funny to go with this stamp. I used a purple button to accentuate the sentiment, which I also matted in black. Buttons can be a fun embellishment to use. To keep the button in place I used fabric glue.

I used my hodgepodge of Spectrum Noir markers to color the monsters. I think that Spectrum Noir ink is very rich and intense. I colored on Copic XPress It paper. The image is printed at 4 inches.

I used the following colors:

Blueish Green Monster - AB1, AB2, LV3, CT1, and CT3
Green Monster - LB1, LB2, LB3, BGR1, and BGR2
Pink Monster - CR4, CR5, CR6, LG2, and LG3
Tan Monster - F6, F7, F8, HB1, and HB2 with a touch of LV1 for the eyes.
Purple Monster - HB1, HB2, HB3, LV1, LG1, and LG2

When I color, I try to think of where my light source is coming from. It makes it easier to shade if you decide how you want the light to shine on your image. I generally start with my lightest shade, move to my medium, and then followed by the darkest shade. I put 2 or 3 layers on as I color. I think the more layers the richer the colors look.

I hope that my mother likes this card. I also want to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day this year.
