Welcome Back Friends,
Robin, here sharing my project from The Coffee Beans Blog. The image I used has been hand drawn by our very own Becky Conley. This image and many others by Becky Conley can be found here Lady Beans Etsy Store
I hand crafted my own background on kraft paper, using a stencil and white paint, a distressed dot stamp and black ink, a swirly stamp with orange ink, I finished off the back ground by blending in purple ink. Adding scribbles with a gel pen. The image it self has been paper pieced.
Thank You for visiting,
Until Next time.....

Here is my entry for this month
Hey Crafty Friends!
I'm back today to share with you a hand drawn image by our illustrator Becky Conley.
My project is a quick and simple one, when I saw the image I just new I had to make myself some bookmarks. My other happy place besides crafts is reading and I dont actually own any bookmarks! As always all products links can be found at the end of my post ๐
Becky Conley provided this cute fall tree image for us to use this month. And to me it said, “Wouldn’t I be perfect on a candle holder?” Absolutely!
I printed the image out on vellum and colored it in using my Ohuhu markers. Vellum works best if you color it in on the back side of the printed image. I then cut it out and ran it through the Xyron so that it would have all over adhesive.
I placed a circle the same size as the image onto a clean jar and painted the jar using acrylic paint. Any color will do - I used copper. I removed the blank circle and adhered the image onto the unpainted area of the jar.
I took some lace and glued it around the perimeter of the image. Using white cardstock, I cut out a circle to fit the lid of the jar. Then I punched out a scalloped circle from patterned cardstock and adhered it to the center of the white circle on the lid. I glued rickrack around the edge of the lid. Then I placed a flameless candle inside the jar.
Voila! A cute little candle holder.
These images aren’t just for cards. They can be used on various projects to brighten up your home.

Happy crafting everyone.

Hello Crafters!
I made this scrapbook page using the sketch of school books.
The sketch is colored with markers with accents of gold leafing pen, then cut out.
Mix up some patterned paper, add a title (3" schoolhouse, by cricut) a distressed tag behind the book panel and some silk leaves.
I hope you're crafting today.
Until next time, craft on!
Becky
Hello everyone!

Our new Illustrator is anazing!!! I totally love what she Draws and the Style she uses. Fluid lines that almost gives you the sentiment for the image.
I took the Tree image and printed out twice. I coloured one in for the card image and cut the leaves from the second image. I coloured using my spectrum Noir Pens . I used a gold mirror card for a small splash of colour and glued the extra leaves to the card in a falling pattern. I added a sentiment from my ultimate go-to stamp company , Cracker box and Suzy stamps . I am really happy with the card and think it is perfect for a bereavement card. Thank you so much for looking xxx
Today I am using a file from Sarah Kay which is available from the Etsy shop I had a lot of fun with this file I thought I would do something a bit different so I made a wall hanging to put up when I decorate my home for Halloween
Hello my crafty friends,
This month we get to use some very cute digis by Sarah Kay. So the first thing that I thought of was a witch hat shaped card adorned with Sarah’s adorable digis.
I printed the digis onto 65# cardstock, colored them using my Ohuhu markers, then cut them out. I used the following colors:
I went online and searched for a free witch hat image. In Publisher, I pulled in the witch hat and sized it at about 5” tall (to fit easily on half of the 11” of an 8-1/2” x 11” sheet of 65# cardstock). I folded the card just above the hat peak then cut around the hat (leaving a good size border) to create a shaped card. I adhered the digis to the font of the hat using 3D foam tape.
For the card inside, I cut out the “I’m a SUCKER For you” using shape scissors for the border. I inked the border of the saying using Distress Ink in the color Black Soot. I glued the saying to the bottom of the inside of the card.
I am very happy with the way this card turned out. I hope you like it.
And please take a few minutes and go to our Etsy shop to see all the delightful images available there.
Happy crafting all,
